Great, fun learning tool. I bought game to try learning Spanish in my mid-50's. It is user friendly and seems to have a broad range of vocabulary. I found it to be one tool towards learning Spanish. Supplemental books and other learning tools are necessary to get a grasp on speaking the language.

It is fun and has different games to apply the learned words. It also pronounces the words which helps for the speaking aspect of the language, so I highly recommend a set of earbuds to use when playing the game. Spanish Coach is A-OK! I'm liking the Spanish Coach for DS. It does a good job of evaluating where you are with the language and not starting me where it's too easy or too hard.

It uses the DS capabilities well, and is fairly fun and easy to use. How far it takes me in the language remains to be seen, but it certainly will take me to the next level. I have noticed a minor glitch, where after mastering a set of words through games, and making it clear that I have mastered those words, it says I have mastered 0 out of 10. They even give us spanish test and make us do spanish presintations! I dont understand it one bit cause my spanish teacher is always moving along too fast. I know some but its not enough. So im getting this my coach game too(i already have my jappenese coach and my chinese coach). I think these games are great because they actually teach you the language-something my spanish teacher failed to do-and you can learn it at your own pace.:).
