Optionalfeatures Exe Download 2008

Hi, I have the latest RTM of windows Vista (installed Jan 1) on a desktop machine. I went into the 'Programs->Turn Windows features on or off' item under control panel (this opens up optionalfeatures.exe) and enabled a few features and it worked fine. Vista has been pretty unstable on my machine from the start and sometimes it just displays a quick blue screen and reboots. I did a 'last known good configuration' option on restart to boot into it and it worked. But from then onwards my 'windows features' list does not display ANYTHING>It's totally empty.

I can see 'please wait' initially as it tries to make up a list but then it totally blanks out. I can close the window and click help etc (the program is responding), but the list is totally blank. Anybody knows what's going on here? Any suggestions as on how to get this working?

Are there any alternate ways of enabling/disabling 'features' (for instance something in the registry)? Adobe Illustrator Cs5 Crack Download Free. I did some more research on this and found that there was a 'thread exit' event just after OptionalFeatures.exe tried to look at the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft CTF KnownClasses'. I did not have this in my registry (probably the result of a crash). I tried adding that key in there and then noticed another error about not finding HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft CTF KnownClasses Systreeview32.

Jun 12, 2013 can anyone attach optionalfeatures.exe for. May be able to repair or restore the optionalfeatures.exe file for Windows Features. Cooling Tech Microscope Driver Download here. Nov 02, 2012 OptionalFeatures.exe is non-existent in System32 folder. You can download it from here. OptionalFeatures.exe is non-existent in System32 folder.

This is quite possibly the treeview control needed to render the 'features' that can be turned on and off. I then searched for the string in the registry and - guess what - the system crashed and rebooted again. I was wondering whether someone could export their 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft CTF KnownClasses' branch and post it here if it's not too large. I could save some time by importing it and checking if it solves the issue. Thanks in advance! To George, To All: I am also having the same difficulty.
